The top car maker Dacia, which was taken over by the largest manufacturer Renault 1999, soon to launch Sprint EV in India. The model that is already available in the international market, will arrive in the country as Kwid EV.
Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spied on during the testing phase. It was spotted at the parking lot in Chennai. Despite being fully covered in camouflage, the model somehow has revealed a few details and some important key factors.
Here’s What to Expect
As per the leaked photos, the upcoming model flaunts Dacia’s logo at the front, featuring similar design elements as Kwid. It gets a round-shaped headlight setup, which seems like has been installed on the bumpers, while DRLs have been placed right on the top.
Apart from this, the EV is likely to be equipped with wraparound taillights with a sweet touch of black plastic insert at the centre. Other notable highlights include decent-sized cladding on the sides, c-shaped wheel arches, and stylish alloy wheels.
Interior
From inside, the Dacia Spring EV was seen having a multi-functional 3-spoke steering wheel. The cabin is also complimented by a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which is expected to support all the wireless car connect technology.
Battery, Power and Range
Talking about the Dacia Spring EV in the global market, it has been offered in two electric motor options. Both units are powered by a 26.8 kWh battery pack that generates a maximum power of 44 bhp, offering an impressive range of 220 km on a single charge.
The Indian spec is expected to use the same battery setup, and will churn out similar power figures.
