The leading car manufacturer in the luxury segment, Audi has been witnessing an overwhelming response in terms of sales in India. The company has welcomed the year with impressive figures, retaining the top position in the country. Now, the official sales data has been released, which shows an overall growth of 33 percent in FY23-24.
As per the official release, it has been informed that Audi has retailed 7,027 units in FY23-24. The company also revealed that it sold 1,046 units in Q1 2024, which is considered quite lower compared to the same period last year. The brand has blamed the supply chain disruptions.
Statement from Audi India’s Head
Commenting about the performance, Audi India’s head, Balbir Singh Dhillon said, “We have seen robust growth of 33% in FY23-24 on the back of a diverse portfolio. Our product portfolio continues to witness strong demand and we are poised to overcome supply challenges. Despite ongoing growth in the luxury market, which is tapering off on the back of record-breaking sales in 2023, we are confident about the industry’s potential to exceed 50,000 cars in 2024.”
