A shocking video from Louisiana is making waves on the internet, depicting a woman mercilessly tossing two puppies into a dumpster. This heart-wrenching incident led to the arrests of the woman and her male companion on charges of animal cruelty, according to St. Landry Parish Government investigators, as reported by KTVZ.com.
The disturbing event, which took place on June 2, shows the woman walking towards a dumpster with a puppy in her arms, while another dog trails beside her. Upon reaching the dumpster, she throws the puppy she was holding into it. Not stopping there, she then picks up the second dog and deposits it into the bin as well. This appalling act was caught on camera and subsequently shared on Facebook, prompting an outcry for quick action.

“Please have a stiff fine for such cruelty," implored a Facebook user. “Crazy people how can they do something so disgusting. They are poor puppies. Hope they find them and throw the book at them," expressed another.

As reported by WBRZ, the duo was identified as Jasmine Mounton and Kendall Tyler. Their arrests followed the viral spread of the video. The sheriff’s office released footage showing Mounton and Tyler near a dumpster behind Sebastian West End Seafood. The video clearly captures Mounton carrying a puppy, opening the dumpster, and throwing the puppy inside. She then repeats this with another puppy before leaving the dumpster lid ajar and walking away.
Subsequently, Mounton and Tyler were detained for animal cruelty and booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. In a fortunate turn of events, the puppies emerged unharmed after a neighbour noticed them in the dumpster and rescued them.
