This woman from the US claims to be in one. A resident of Wilmington, in North Carolina, the USA, Rebekah Carmichael is in a relationship with a ghost, as well as a human. The Daily Star website reports that Rebekah’s “boyfriend” is the spirit of a Welsh soldier, who passed away hundreds of years ago. He is named Rupert. At the same time, she is involved with a woman named Katharyn Birgfeld. Together, they oversee a psychic research business.
In a podcast conversation, Rebekah revealed how she met her ghost boyfriend. She said, “It was following a ghost tour that I had just led.” According to her, the ghost “called out” to her and asked her if she would like to be escorted while she was alone. Initially, she got the feeling of “stranger danger” from him but she found him to be “really nice” and agreed to accompany him.
The reports stated further that Rebekah’s human girlfriend Katharyn has nothing to do with the supernatural relationship. Katharyn says that she does not feel any jealousy towards them, instead has immense respect for their connection and how it came about. She added, “If anything I feel excitement and pride for the both of them.”
Interestingly, Rebekah claims that her relationship with Rupert is not recent but it goes way back, even before the invention of electronics. The psychic explained how she discovered this information, she said, “I did a past life regression and I knew him back in 1781 when he was stationed here as a part of the 82nd regiment.” Rebekah further claimed that they used to be married. She confirmed it with the help of other hypnotists and psychic mediums.
Unsurprisingly, netizens voiced their criticism of her situation. A user wrote, “Clearly she’s lying.” While another stated, “Find Jesus, accept him into your heart.”
