Sonu Nigam was recently left impressed by an impromptu jam session inside the bustling Mumbai local. The event occurred when a group of travellers on the crowded train broke into a blissful rendition of the classic track Yeh Dil Deewana from the film Pardes, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
The video begins with a traveller, standing inside the packed Mumbai local in a blue shirt, singing the melodious track. Soon, other co-passengers also joined him. As the camera pans right, an elderly man could be seen beating the wall of the train, presumably playing it like a tabla. The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “Art finds its place everywhere.”
The video went viral in no time, prompting several users to share their reactions. Moved by this impromptu rendition of his track, Sonu Nigam reacted to the clip. The singer took to the comments section to share his joy and wrote, “How beautiful. Give me such happiness. God bless everyone.”
An Instagram user said,” Those unfortunate working men don’t get time for lounges and f&b for entertainment. So they enjoy it while commuting to work.”

Talking about the song, Yeh Dil Deewana featured in the 1998 film Pardes, is known for its infectious melody and romantic lyrics.
