Saudi Man Lists 'Executioner' As His Hobby on Dating Site, Hopes to Match With 'Interesting Women'

A man living in New York City is “hoping” to find love on a dating app as his hobby seems to intimidate potential matches. The man, who used to work as a hobbyist executioner in Saudi Arabia, is “open to exploring”. He has even apologised to women for any discomfort his hobby may have caused.

A screenshot of the man’s profile was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by “Mindy” with the caption, “Friend saw this guy on the app. Lol.”

In the “About Me” section of the app, he wrote, “Hello everybody, hoping to meet interesting women.”

The man added, “I’m an entrepreneur and also work as an executioner in Saudi Arabia. If that scares you then I apologise. It’s more like a hobby (I don’t do it as often as before since I don’t live in Saudi Arabia anymore).”

“Other than that I like watching movies, going out, listening to music etc,” the man who is over six feet tall wrote on X.

The man said that he was an “executioner, entrepreneur, and a business owner”.

Reacting to the now-viral screenshot, an individual wrote, “The part that it’s a hobby makes it somehow worse.”

“Executioner (He/Him),” joked another.

A third, hoping to find the perfect match, wrote, “My hobbies include listening to music, going out, cutting people’s heads off, watching movies, the usual.”

“I remember seeing the job postings for this online years back! It was like ‘Swordsman’. It’s legit,” said a fourth.

A fifth added, “The most interesting case study would be seeing who actually responded.”
