Passengers Wait As Pilot Gets Stuck On Another Delayed Flight. Internet Says, 'Happens All The Time'

Flight delays have become a common occurrence, often caused by weather conditions or technical malfunctions. However, in a recent incident, a flight was delayed because the pilot was running late. According to a video recorded by a passenger, the pilot was on an IndiGo flight that was behind schedule.

The woman in the video was heard saying, “Guys, you must have heard all sorts of reasons for flight delays but this reason had passengers laughing out loud. I mean, that funny it was.” Her partner, joined in to explain the situation. He said, “The Akasa Air flight was delayed because the pilot was on IndiGo flight and that IndiGo flight was also delayed.”

Following the video, Akasa Air addressed the situation with a response, stating, “Hi Hemani, we do understand that delays are disappointing, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience. We assure you that we closely monitor the on-time performance record of each flight we operate, and our team carefully evaluates every available option to minimize or avoid delays. However, certain factors aren’t in our control. We seek your understanding.”

Some found the situation amusing by sharing their own stories of flight delay excuses, while others were disappointed with the airline services.

One user questioned, “Why is this even funny? It happens all the time, Pilots also need to travel, think about the pilot who waited hours to board a delayed flight to operate another one as soon as he/ she lands! Come on man, gain knowledge!
