Pakistani Cricketer Umar Akmal Steps Out In A Pink Floral Shirt. Internet Says He 'Looks Like Barbie'
Umar Akmal shared a picture of himself, posing in a floral shirt and matching shorts. However, the statement didn't sit well with everyone.

Known for often finding himself the target for jeers and being laughed at for his social media activities, former Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal has done it again. After sharing a picture of himself in a floral outfit, Akmal’s dressing style has become a topic of discussion on the internet. In the picture, the cricketer is wearing a printed pink shirt and matching shorts. “Real style never right or wrong. It’s all about being happy and being yourself!!” he wrote in the caption.

The post went viral instantly, sparking hilarious reactions on the platform. His choice of outfit was brutally trolled, leaving users in splits. A user wrote, “Chapri number one.”

Another joked, “Looks like barbie.”

“Believe me he is not a Hollywood hero,” a user remarked.

A user commented, “Umar bhai, hesitate karna tha thoda!!”

One of them questioned his caption and added, “What has style to do with right or wrong dost?? And what is this ‘real’ style?? And why pinkotober style clothes are required for being happy or yourself??”

On the other hand, a limited section of users supported his confidence and daring style statement. Despite the backlash and consistent trolling on social media, Umar Akmal continues to attract significant engagement, showing that his social media presence is quite noticeable.

Meanwhile, this also adds to the long list of epic moments that made him a ‘meme’ favourite. Earlier, his congratulatory message to the Kolkata Knight Riders for winning the IPL trophy got massively trolled. The Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter misspelled the IPL franchise’s name, which led to hilarious reactions on the X platform. “Congratulations to KKL on winning the IPL third trophy,” he wrote in the now-deleted tweet.

Reacting to the post, a user joked, “KKL to congratulations on IPL third winning trophy. Lord Umar,” while another commented, “Congratulations to IPL for winning 3rd KKR.” Some tried to rectify his error by suggesting the correct abbreviation for the IPL winner. Prior to this, the Pakistani cricketer wished India’s star batter Virat Kohli, however, his confusing message had everyone scratching their heads.

“Happy birthday brother Virat Kohli to King in India sir Sachin. Virat Kohli, BCCI,” Umar Akmal wrote.
