Jaipur Teacher on the Ground, Students Giving Her Leg 'Massage': Viral Video Sparks Anger

Schools are a temple for learning. But every once in a while, videos emerge that show teachers or school staff misusing their position of authority. Such a video has now emerged from Jaipur where a teacher at a government school is lying on the ground while the students massage her legs by standing on them.

With the video going viral on social media, concerns have been raised about the state of government schools, with many teachers expressing their displeasure over the incident.

The video, purportedly filmed at the Government Higher Primary School in Kartarpur, shows the teacher lying down in a classroom while the children stand on her feet.

The school’s principal, Anju Chaudhary, has admitted to coming across the video but says she is unaware of the specific incident. She said the teacher might have been unwell and might have requested the children to massage her feet. However, an investigation will be conducted to determine the truth, she added.

The school administration and the education department have so far not released any official statement.
