Is Kate Middleton Working From Home? The Latest Update Is...
There has been considerable speculation surrounding Kate Middleton's absence from public eye following her abdominal surgery.

In recent weeks, global attention has been keenly focused on the whereabouts of Princess Kate following her last public appearance during the Christmas season of the previous year. Notably, Kate Middleton has been noticeably absent from public engagements since undergoing abdominal surgery, as confirmed by Kensington Palace. The palace further indicated that her return to royal duties is not expected until Easter. This departure from her usual active presence has raised eyebrows worldwide, given her esteemed position as a steadfast member of the royal family.

Amid all the speculations, a report now suggests that the Princess of Wales is presently working from home while being in post-surgery recovery mode.

According to a New York Post report, the palace has confirmed that Kate has shifted all her focus on her early years project towards improving the lives of newborn babies. Earlier, it was reported that she would start working at the start of February; however, sources close to the family now claim that Middleton is “working from bed” to prepare before returning to official duties.

She has been very hands-on with the campaign for the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood (RFCEC) project which has yielded “overwhelmingly positive”, the palace adds.

The project was launched by the princess in January this year to highlight the importance of early years development in children, which has now become her “life’s work” during her recovery process.

Speculations around Kate Middleton’s public absence

A lot of speculations and theories have been made following Kate Middleton’s extended absence from public appearances.

Recently, a video of Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William went viral, showing the duo coming out of a farmer’s shop. However, the internet seemed quite unconvinced with many even claiming that the woman in the video was someone else and not the princess.

Apart from that, a poorly edited Mother’s Day picture from the palace also added more to the theories.

Earlier this week, three staff members from a London-based clinic (where Middleton underwent surgery) were put under investigation for an alleged data breach. While the princess is believed to remain at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, she is not expected to return to her public duties until after Easter, which falls on 31 March 2024.
