Palak Sindhwani’s Last Day On Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Set: Actress Recalls 5-Year Journey

Palak Sindhwani, widely known for her role as Sonu Bhide in the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been in news recently after accusing the makers of mental harassment. The claim came after the show producers intended to send her a legal notice for breaching the contract by working with other brands. The actress raised questions regarding the working condition on the sets as well. Recently, Palak shared that she filmed her final episode for the show and penned a heartwarming note about her journey so far.

The actress shared a series of photos from the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sets, featuring Dilip Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar and other actors. The carousel featured some solo snaps of Palak dressed up for her character. She wrote a lengthy caption reflecting on her Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah experience. She thanked her audience for their love and support throughout the five years she was associated with the show.

“As I wrap up my last day on set, I reflect on the past five years filled with hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Thank you to my amazing audience for the love and support you’ve given me throughout this journey,” she expressed.

She further added, “I’m truly grateful for this journey and the incredible people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’ve learned so much — not just from my fellow actors but also from everyone behind the scenes, from my hairstylist to the spot team, makeup team and everyone else. Our goodbyes were filled with tears, and I will cherish the wonderful memories we’ve created together as a team.”

Palak mentioned that as she goes back to living her normal life, she plans to reflect, rest and recharge in order to return stronger and ready for the next chapter. She concluded the note saying, “Being an actor, stepping onto the set, means letting go of everything and focussing only on delivering your best, and that’s what I did right till the final shot.”

The controversy between Palak and the makers of the show started when the latter issued a legal notice to the actress for breach of contract. According to reports, the notification highlighted breaches of several important provisions outlined in her exclusive artist agreement. In response, the actress accused the makers of delaying the clearance of her departure.
