Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai, who starred as the leads Mr Walia and Bani in Zee TV's old show Kasamh Se, met at a cafe in Mumbai.

Amid the slew of television shows, some are remembered years after they went off air due to the connection they made with the audience and the stellar performances by the cast members. One such show was Kasamh Se, which aired on Zee TV from 2006 to 2008. It starred famous actors Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai as the leads, Mr Walia and Bani. They became a household name through the show, and their fans have missed their on-screen chemistry for years. Recently, the duo met at a cafe in Mumbai and posted an adorable glimpse of this reunion for their fans.

Prachi Desai shared a picture posing with Ram Kapoor and wrote, “And that kids, is HOW I MET MR. Ektaa Kapoor, who produced the show Kasamh Se reacted to the post, “Omgeeeeeeee.” Pooja Gor commented, saying, “Baanu Forever.” Many of their fans shared their excitement seeing the reunion and said, “Team Bani and Jay Walia forever,” “Golden Days and golden serial Kasam se…” One fan simply wrote, “Thankyou for making our day.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Prachi Desai opened up about quitting the iconic show as venturing into Bollywood. She shared that both Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor were happy with her success. She shared that there was a “sense of pride and happiness” on their faces, and that gave her confidence to take the leap forward in her career. She added, “I think it was quite selfless in a sense because they did not think about their show and worry about present TRPs and how can we just let her go. I don’t think that was the thought at all. I felt that selflessness is something that you find rarely, someone being happy for you to move on while you are actually collaborating with them. So that was amazing on their part.”

Prachi Desai made her Bollywood debut with Rock On. She has eventually been part of many films, such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Azhar, Rock On 2 among others. Ram Kapoor is indeed a popular name and was last seen in the web series Jubilee streaming on Prime Video.
