Bigg Boss OTT 3 fame Adnaan Shaikh recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Ayesha on September 24. However, days after the celebrations, his sister Iffat filed an FIR, accusing him of assault. She also made some shocking revelations about his wife Ayesha, aka Riddhi Jadhav, as per reports. Amid the ongoing feud between the siblings, Adnaan’s father, Abdul Mabood Shaikh, came out in support of the fitness influencer.
Talking about the legal battle initiated by Iffat, Adnaan’s father alleged that his daughter’s in-laws are involved. He said, “My daughter’s in-laws are forcing her to do this. I would not want to see her face again in life,” as quoted by ETimes. Adnaan’s father shared that the tension in the family started back in 2018 when Adnaan’s mother fell seriously ill. Putting things into perspective, he claimed, “Iffat, then only 18, made the drastic decision to elope and marry a man that her family had serious reservations about due to his lifestyle choices, including drinking and smoking. Adnaan and I were requesting her not to go with such a guy, but she didn’t listen to us at all,” he said.
Despite their disapproval of her marriage with the guy, Adnaan’s father shared they tried their best to resolve the bitterness. He noted, “We organised a small party for her, but Adnaan and I couldn’t attend because we were not supportive of her choice. This was not merely a family disagreement; it was a matter of concern for Iffat’s well-being.”
Moreover, Abdul Mabood mentioned that the feud has taken a toll on their mother’s health, who is currently on oxygen support. Talking about his wife’s condition, he expressed, “This has severely affected their health. My wife has 50% lung damage. We are now staying with relatives, seeking refuge from the constant inquiries and judgments surrounding the controversy.”
Previously, in a video shared by a paparazzo account, Adnaan addressed the ongoing feud with his sister, confirming that he has also filed an FIR. He stated, “It’s nothing. My legal team is on it. I have also filed an FIR. Nothing will be hidden. I have full trust in the Mumbai police, and whoever does wrong will soon be behind bars.”
Adnaan Shaikh rose to fame after his brief stint on Anil Kapoor-hosted Bigg Boss OTT 3. He is also a known social media influencer and is popular for being a member of Team 07, a group of influencers that includes Faisal Shaikh.
