New Delhi: You no longer have to manage with the default skin tone of WhatsApp emojis as the messenger app has introduced racially diverse emojis to the beta version of its Android app.Along with the human faces, hand gestures are also available in five more skin tones other than the existing. If you notice, there are little triangles at the bottom of these emojis; by a tap-and-hold on the desired emoji, you can pick the skin tone, which will become the default choice, till you once again tap-and-hold for more options.
Another surprise element is the new Vulcan Salute or Spock hand emoji, which is also available in different skin tones. However, the racially diverse emojis and the new Spock hand emoji will be visible on the recipient’s Android device only if they have downloaded the new version.

While the feature has been available on the web version for long, its addition to the Android version is the latest change and you can download the beta version directly through the WhatsApp website.
