Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched its latest modest smartphone under Y series - Vivo Y75 in China. Vivo Y75 is regarded as the successor to the Vivo V7 that was launched earlier this year. The new Vivo Y75 sports an 18:9 aspect ratio FullVision display and also retains facial unlocking feature which it calls 'Face Wake'. Though Vivo Y75 and Vivo V7 are very similar to each other on the basis of specifications, yet they differ in their camera capabilities. The device is priced at 1598 Yuan which (approximately Rs 15,510), and will come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour options. The smartphone is available for purchase via the company's Chinese website.
In terms of specifications, Vivo Y75 sports a 5.7-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core processor and runs Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Vivo Y75 draws its juice from a 3000mAh battery. It carries a 4GB RAM coupled with a 32GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
As for its optics, Vivo Y75 features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, GLONASS, GPS, micro USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Earlier Vivo had launched Vivo V7, in terms of specifications, Vivo V7 features 5.7-inch bezel-less display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core SoC. The smartphone carries a 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 7.1.2-based Funtouch OS 3.2. Connectivity options on the Vivo V7 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio.
In terms of optics, the V7+ comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera and an even better 24-megapixel selfie camera. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
