New Delhi: Vivo has announced the launch of of its two new smartphones - V3 and V3 Max - in India. While the former is priced at Rs 17,980, the latter carries a price tag of Rs 23,980.
Featuring a metal body, the V3 Max is a high-end phone and features a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Class atop. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 octa-core chipset paired with 4 GB of RAM. The phone includes an internal storage space of 32 GB with an option to expand memory up to 128 GB.
The Vivo V3, on the other hand, has a same design but comes with a slightly smaller screen. It has a 5-inch 720p display and is engineered with Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor. It includes 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of in-built storage space.
Both the V3 and V3 Max house the same camera hardware. The phones, which run Android 5.1-based FunTouch OS 2.5, sport a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.
The company has also roped in actor Ranveer Singh as its new brand ambassador.
