After Infinity Display, Samsung might just be going for a true bezel-less design with some of its upcoming smartphones. As per a report, a recent patent filed by the South Korean giant with the World Intellectual Property Organisation consists of a completely bezel-less design of a smartphone. As per the said design, the future Samsung Galaxy smartphones might have a fingerprint sensor embedded below the display and might be pressure sensitive.
The report consists of certain leaked images of the patent design which show a greater screen to body ratio than what is seen on the current Galaxy flagships. The report also mentions that the home screen would double up as a fingerprint sensor and even a microphone activation key when pressed deeper. Upon pressing it even harder, the home button will launch a list of applications. Similarly, the back and the recent buttons will also double up for other functions on the smartphone.
