The Samsung Galax On7 prime will be available online at Amazon.in and Samsung stores starting January 20.

Samsung today launched its latest budget offering—the Galaxy On7 Prime—smartphone in India for a starting price of Rs 12,990. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime competes in the smartphone market of under Rs 15,000 with two variants- 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage for Rs 12,990 and Rs 14,990 respectively. Both the variants support microSD cards of up to 256GB. The device will be available online at Amazon.in and Samsung stores starting January 20.

Samsung Mall enables image search for the products showcased in any photograph. So, if you like the dress or some accessory that your friend is wearing and wish to buy it online then just click an image of the product with the Samsung Mall app and you will get a link to buy it from online stores like Amazon.in, Jabong, ShopClues and TataCLiQ. By default, Amazon.in listings are shown. The products with the best match will be listed. Also read: Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) First Impressions Review: Power Packed For Rs 32,999

The app can come handy for knowing e-commerce store prices and discounts for a particular product while you are bargaining at brick-and-mortar store. Just click an image of the product while inside the store and compare the prices of the same product in different online stores without the hassle of manually searching for it.

The feature is embedded in the regular camera UI as well and also works for any image that is there in the Gallery app, including selfies. While the app automatically selects some products in an image, the user can manually drag and select a particular product to search in these e-commerce portals. Also, the Samsung Mall offers a universal cart feature through which you are not required to visit individual e-commerce websites to buy the product. Note that Samsung is not the first to bring this feature. Karbonn had earlier introduced the “fashion search app" in 2016 with its Karbonn Fashion Eye smartphone.
