The Realme Buds Air 2 TWS earbuds will go on sale in India for the first time on March 2, nearly a week after the official launch. The new TWS buds from the Chinese tech company are quite different from the original Realme Buds Air, launched in December 2019 but look similar to the Realme Buds Air Pro, unveiled last year. They feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and 10mm audio drivers. The Realme Buds Air 2 have a claimed battery life of 25 hours and support smart detection.
In terms of pricing, the Realme Buds Air 2 carry a price tag of Rs 3,299 that keeps the product in the budget TWS segment despite supporting ANC. Customers can choose between the White or Black colour option via Flipkart or Realme offline and online stores. Flipkart customers can also look at sale deals such as exchange offer worth up to Rs 285, 5 percent cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, 10 percent off on Bank of Baroda Mastercard debit card, and EMI payment mode at starting Rs 113 per month. Additionally, customers can also enjoy six months of free Spotify Premium subscription.

The Realme Buds Air 2 come with an in-canal fit that enables passive noise isolation that is critical for the proper functioning of active noise cancellation. Powered by Realme’s R2 chip, the TWS earbuds support transparency mode to enable users to hear their surroundings. There is also a super low latency mode for gaming, which has a claimed response delay of 88ms. Realme claims that 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 2 hours of music playback (with the case). Additionally, there are two microphones on each earbud to enable clearer audio input. The earbuds feature a Bass Boost+ bass enhancement solution, designed by EDM artist The Chainsmokers.
