Ram Mandir Inauguration: ‘Holy Ayodhya’ App Launched To Help Tourists Book Affordable Homestays
The Holy Ayodhya app has listed 500 buildings of Ayodhya city as 'homestays' and 2200 rooms will be available for tourists to book via the app.

The Ayodhya administration has introduced a new app named ‘Holy Ayodhya’ dedicated for tourists visiting the Ram Mandir. The ‘Holy Ayodhya’, created by Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA), will help tourists book affordable homestays in Ayodhya. The app is only available for Android users currently. The interface is similar to any hotel booking app but the hotel listings are exclusively for Ayodhya. The room tariffs start at Rs 1000 on average.

Note that the ‘Holy Ayodhya’ app mostly lists homestays and not for commercial properties like hotels. The administration mentioned that 500 buildings of Ayodhya city have been registered under homestays and tourists will be able to stay in 2200 rooms under the scheme.

For booking a room in any homestay through this app, the tourist needs to provide a valid phone number and confirm the booking by paying upfront. As far as cancellation policy is concerned, free cancellation and full refund will be provided only if the booking is canceled 24-hours prior to the check-in time, after which there will be no refund. The check-in time for most rooms is 2PM.

Meanwhile, a roadmap is being made for preparations to welcome about 8000 invited visitors. 5000 people of Sant Samaj have been invited to this program who will travel through various means to reach Ayodhya and a final action plan will be prepared for their stay and the operation of the movement in view of the journey, according to the administration.

For the program to be held on January 22, a special corridor will be constructed to maintain the smooth traffic system during VVIP movement. This corridor will connect major areas of Ayodhya including Ayodhya Airport, Railway Station during VVIP movement.
