New Delhi: Expanding its Eluga series, Panasonic has launched a new smartphone - the Eluga Arc 2 - in India.
Priced at Rs 12,290, the new phone is the successor to the Eluga Arc, which was launched in India earlier this year.
Unlike its predecessor that had a 4.7-inch display, the Eluga Arc 2 features a slightly larger screen, which measures 5 inches. It sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
Other specs of the Eluga Arc 2 include 32 GB internal memory (expandable up to 128 GB), 4G VoLTE, 2450 mAh battery, OTG support and an IR Blaster.
It also includes Panasonic's new Turbo Download feature, which, as the company says, combines WiFi and Mobile Data for quicker download.
The dual- SIM Eluga Arc 2 smartphone will be available in India in two colours - Gold and Rose Gold.
The Eluga Arc 2 will compete with the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Zuk Z1, and the Moto G4.
The company, during the press briefing, said that it will launch "something unique" in the next six to nine months.
