Recently launched OnePlus 6’s Marvel Avengers special edition is available for sale from today on Amazon India and the OnePlus India website. The limited edition OnePlus was announced alongside the standard OnePlus 6 in India and it comes with 8GB RAM, coupled with 256GB of internal storage. Users will also be able to purchase this phone offline from June 3, across retail outlets as well as the company’s Bangalore experience centre. The smartphone comes at a premium price of Rs 44,999 making it the most expensive smartphone from OnePlus thus far. All the standard launch offers of OnePlus 6 apply to this model also. Users will get no-cost EMIs up to 3 months, a 12-month accidental damage insurance from Servify, and Celartrip benefits worth up to Rs. 25,000 on flight and hotel bookings, among others. Customers purchasing the smartphone through Citibank credit and debit card transactions will get a Rs 2,000 discount. Amazon users will receive Rs 250 on Amazon Prime Video, alongside discounts up to Rs 500 on Amazon Kindle e-books. Idea subscribers will also get up to Rs 2,000 cash back.

Except for the changes in design and the bumped up internal memory, there is not much of a difference between the OnePlus 6 and the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition of the phone. The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition comes with a zig-zag kevlar-like pattern on the back under a Gorilla Glass 5 panel. There's also the Avengers logo on the bottom in gold colour which is the same colour used for the Alert Slider as well. OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers limited edition features a notched 6.28-inch full HD+ (2280 x 1080) display, with an aspect ratio of 19:9. This is the first official smartphone in India to get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC that has a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. This is what makes the OnePlus 6 a super fast smartphone as well. Along with the flagship Qualcomm processor.

On the optics front, the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers limited edition sports a dual-camera module as its primary camera with one sensor of 16-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture and a supported camera module of 20-megapixel. The 16-megapixel camera now comes with Optical Image Stabilisation and EIS. The camera is also now capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 FPS. There is, of course, a portrait mode on the OnePlus 6 with advanced HDR capabilities as well. The front camera of the OnePlus 6 is also a 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture and EIS enabled for stable selfies.
OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers limited edition does retain the Face Unlock feature and the fingerprint sensor of the OnePlus 5T and a similar 3300 mAh battery with DASH charging support. The OnePlus 6 runs on OxygenOS based Android 8.1. There is also OnePlus’ signature Alert Slider on the device but the position of this alert slider that switches the phone between silent, vibrate and ring mode has moved from the left edge of the device to the right on the OnePlus 6.
