Micromax Canvas Spark: The new low-cost smartphone coming to India tomorrow

New Delhi: Micromax is all set to launch its new affordable smartphone - the Canvas Spark - in India on April 21. The media invite received from the company clearly states the launch of the Canvas Spark.

"Be the first to get your hands on the Micromax Canvas Spark! Join us for an electrifying get together and witness the reveal of this exciting gadget!"

While the company has not divulged much details about the phone, the teaser images posted by both Micromax and Snapdeal on their Facebook pages reveal that it will be an affordable smartphone and will come running Android Lollipop.

The Micromax Canvas Spark is rumoured to come with a 4.7-inch display and price tag under Rs 6,000. It is expected to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and the new Motorola Moto E.

Snapdeal's active participation in promoting the the yet-to-be-launched phone hints at its exclusive tie-up with Micromax for selling it online.
