Honor has launched two new models in India, the Honor 200 5G and Honor 200 Pro 5G. The devices made their debut in China earlier this year. The phones promise to be “The Portrait Master,” equipped with a triple rear camera setup. The Pro model also features a dual front camera module and the Honor 200 series’ design is inspired by the form of Gaudi’s Casa Milla. Honor is looking to challenge the likes of Xiaomi 14 Civi and the Pixel 8a in the market.
Honor 200 5G And Honor 200 Pro 5G Price in India
The pricing for the Honor 200 5G’s 8GB + 256GB variant is set at Rs 34,999 in India, while the 12GB + 512GB variant costs Rs 39,999. The Honor 200 Pro 5G, on the other hand, will be made available at a price of Rs 57,999 for the sole 12GB + 512GB option.
The standard model will be available in Black and Moonlight White shades, while the Honor 200 Pro 5G is offered in Black and Ocean Cyan colours. The Honor 200 series is now available in the country through Amazon.in, select offline retail stores and Honor official website.
Honor 200 5G, Honor 200 Pro 5G: Specifications
The Honor 200 sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED curved display, while the Honor 200 Pro 5G features a slightly larger 6.78-inch screen. The base version comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm, and the Pro variant is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Running on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0, the company commits to providing three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches for these devices.
For optics, both the Honor 200 5G and Honor 200 Pro 5G are equipped with a 50MP primary rear sensor with a 1/1.3-inch Super Dynamic H9000 sensor alongside a 12MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto shooter. The vanilla model is equipped with a Sony IMX906 main sensor, optical image stabilisation (OIS), while the Pro model carries a H9000 primary sensor.
The smartphone also includes dual front cameras, including a 50MP portrait selfie camera optimised for Indian skin tones. The Pro variant also comes with Harcourt portrait styles and has an additional 3D depth camera alongside the selfie camera.
Both Honor 200 5G series handsets are backed by a 5,200mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. In addition to that, the Honor 200 Pro 5G also supports 66W wireless as well as reverse wireless charging capabilities. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C and more.
