Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, which is the first official Project Tango smartphone finally goes on sale in the US.
After many delays, the phone is finally hit the market in November 2016. The Phab 2 Pro was supposed to start shipping in August 2016 and was slated to go on sale in September 2016.
After a delay of over a month, the phone is listed now on company’s website for $499 (approx Rs 33,500). The device is special as the camera on it has an AR mode which helps bring augmented reality (AR) gaming, navigation and utilities to a smartphones.
Lenovo Phab 2 Pro comes with AR applications such as Lowe’s Home Improvement, Phantogeist and Raise. Lenovo Phab 2 Pro sports a 6.4-inch 2K display and is powered by a Qualcomm 652 processor backed by 4GB RAM. There is 64GB internal storage on offer and the device comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera that has a special depth-sensing unit. The front camera is 8-megapixel and the device is comes loaded with a 4,050 mAh battery.
