Google Is Using Gemini AI To Help You Create Video Presentations: Here’s How
Google is using Gemini AI to power new tools and Vids could be core part of its future strategy around Workspace and its customers.

Google wants to make the whole tedious process of creating video presentations as easy as creating one slide and it is using the power of AI to make it happen. It has launched the new AI platform called Vids that can make this wish of the company turn into reality and that too in quick time.

If you have always felt that creating videos is a herculean task, Google is ready to change that impression with Vids by letting you drop any media content and create a presentation video that can be shared with other colleagues. The platform is still in the testing phase so it will be sometime before we see it officially roll out for everyone to use the tools.

Google Vids AI Platform – How It Works

Vids is an AI platform that should not be mistaken for another Sora version. As the company highlighted in the Vids demo video, you can create simple work presentations by adding media layers of music, background voice and a script to illustrate the project.

You can even add a file from the Workspace account that brings relevance to the presentation that can be further edited at any point during the process of creating the video. Google says it has a set of templates to get you started and further details can be improvised using Gemini by adding the prompts for what you exactly need from the video.

You also have a repository of royalty-free materials that can be added to the content and give further polishing to the presentation video before you decide to ship it to everyone at the office.

AI-powered tools are gaining momentum at a frightening pace and we have already seen that with audio creation and video creation platforms. Google has shown its focus in this arena and with a robust model like Workspace under its umbrella, Vids is a vital part of its future product strategy.
