Apple will launch the iPhone 13 series this year. According to a recent report, the Cupertino-based giant is planning to bring a 1TB storage variant in the next iPhone lineup. Analysts at Wedbush have said that supply chain checks suggest that the next generation iPhone lineup will feature a 1TB storage high-end variant for the first time. This comes at a time when financial analysts have predicted at a positive year for the Apple iPhone in terms of sale due to the post-pandemic ‘reopening environment.’
The Wedbush analysts prediction was first reported by 9to5Mac, who also cited a previous Front Page Tech report from January, which also said that Apple may include a 1TB storage iPhone model in this year’s lineup. This will be the first time Apple will include a 1TB variant for an iPhone. Currently, only the iPad Pro tablets are the only handheld Apple devices that come with a 1TB storage option. Apple’s iPhone has, more often than not, lagged behind competition in terms of storage. Samsung, for example, has had a 1TB variant in its Galaxy S series lineup for almost two years now – since the launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 series.
The next iPhone series (possibly to be called iPhone 13) is expected to launch this fall. While there are no details about the smartphone as of now, iPhones are always hot in the rumour mill. According to reports, the iPhone 13 series will finally come with a high 120Hz refresh rate display, and there have been persistent rumours of an always-on display, alongside improved MagSafe and Ultra-wide cameras.
