Tamil Producer Ravindar Chandrasekar Shares Video From ICU, Deletes It Post Criticism

Tamil producer Ravindar Chandrasekar has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) following sudden difficulty in breathing. Ravindar, however, drew criticism from the users for not prioritising his health. He uploaded a video of his review regarding the Bigg Boss Tamil episode from ICU. Ravindar was seen speaking in the clip, even though there was a nasogastric tube connected to his nose. Users criticised the producer and said that giving a review at this crucial juncture is not needed. They advised him to take care of his health and then work on his channel. The video of Ravindar’s review of the Big Boss update is also not available. He must have probably deleted it following the criticism from the users.

In September 2023, Ravindar was arrested by the Tamil Nadu police in a case of forgery. He allegedly prepared fictitious paperwork, stating that investing in the project to generate electricity from solid waste would yield significant profits. Post the paperwork, he used this information to con people out of up to Rs 16 crore. A response to the complaint submitted by Chennai resident Balaji has been made in this regard. After serving about a month in jail, Ravindar was released on bail in October 2023.

Ravindar has not made any significant strides in career lately. All films produced by his production house Libra Productions in the past tanked at the box office. His last film as a producer was Murungaikai Chips, directed by Sreejar. The film’s cast included Yogi Babu, Bhagyaraj, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, and others. Murungaikai Chips failed to perform at the box office. Audiences criticised the film’s pathetic storyline, cringed dialogues, and poor execution of the storyline.

In recent times, within a year of their marriage, fans have noticed that the Anbe Vaa actress has also gained a bit of weight recently. In a recent interview, Mahalakshmi has a very humourous take on it. The actress has said that no matter how much Ravindar tried, he was unable to lose weight. Mahalakshmi commented that very soon she would gain as much weight as Ravindar.
