Simran is one of the highly accomplished actresses, who has given several commendable films in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema. She took a brief sabbatical post her marriage to her childhood friend Deepak Bagga and shifted to Delhi. She has also embraced motherhood now and has 2 sons, Adheep and Aadit Bagga. She often shares pictures of her family on Instagram. One of her throwback photos from a trip resurfaced on social media. The pictures show Simran having a gala time with her family, which includes her sons and husband. Simran’s sons are now all grown up, as evident in their childhood and current pictures side by side. Simran, born Rishibala Naval in 1976 in Mumbai, made her debut in Hindi films in 1995. She earned early fame with her second movie Tere Mere Sapne in 1977. One of the popular songs from that film, Aankh Maare, earned her the attention of Tamil director Vasanth. At that time, Vasanth was directing Nerukku Ner for Mani Ratnam’s production company Madras Talkies. Released in 1997, Nerukku Ner helped achieve Simran’s massive stardom in Tamil cinema. She also acted in films from the South’s other language industries. She also produced and appeared in Tamil television shows.
As of now, Simran last played the role of Nasreen Irani in Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, this film earned mixed reviews from the cinemagoers. Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, and others also acted in this film. The audience pointed out several loopholes in the film including Salman’s poor acting, no captivating screenplay etc.
