RJ Balaji-starrer Singapore Saloon Trailer Promises A Slice-of-life Entertainer
Singapore Saloon is all set to hit the theatres on January 25.

The RJ Balaji-starrer upcoming film Singapore Saloon has been making headlines for a long time. The film is scheduled to premiere in theatres on January 25. The makers have recently unveiled the film’s trailer, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention. The film is directed by Gokul, who is best known for his movies like Kaashmora and Rowthiram.The trailer for the film was released yesterday. In the clip, a young man (RJ Balaji) is motivated to become a famous hairdresser because he firmly thinks that his profession has the power to transform people’s lives. He gets this inspiration from a neighbourhood barber (Lal). It also gives glimpses of how he scales up the ladder, fighting against rival corporations while also dealing with his personal issues. The two-minute, seven-second trailer is full of entertainment.

Within one day of its release, the trailer had garnered over 3 lakh views on YouTube. Fans have given their feedback in the comments section. One of the users wrote, “We all know RJ Balaji’s screen presence has a unique style of manner in all movies, even though it has a simple one-liner. Eagerly waiting for this masterpiece." Another one said, “Goosebumps, all the best to the Singapore saloon team." Many showered red heart emojis in the comment section.

In a recent media interaction, speaking about his role in the upcoming film, RJ Balaji said: “Singapore Saloon will share the journey of a person who goes after his dream. A few decades ago, 45 engineering pass-outs in a class of 50 would end up in fields related to their education, and only 5 people experimented with what they liked. But now the tables have turned, and the majority are willing to pursue the profession they like regardless of their education. Singapore Saloon is the story of one such person."

Singapore Saloon is bankrolled by Vels Film International, under the banner that produced RJ Balaji’s LKG and Mookuthi Amman. The film also stars Sathyaraj, Lal, Robo Shankar, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Kishen Das in pivotal roles.

The cinematography and editing of the film are done by M Sukumar and RK Selva, respectively. The music is given by Vivek Mervin.
