Nikhil Siddhartha Drops Hint About Karthikeya 3, Says 'In Search Of A Brand New Adventure...'

Nikhil Siddhartha, a popular actor known for his memorable performances, has left audiences spellbound once again. Famous for playing Dr. Karthikeya in the mystical-adventure series, his role in the franchise has quickly become iconic among online communities. Following the success of his 2014 movie, a sequel, “Karthikeya 2,” was launched in theaters, earning critical acclaim and audience admiration alike. Nikhil recently teased fans about the eagerly awaited next installment in the series.

On March 16, using his social media account on platform X(formerly Twitter), Nikhil shared two images from the 2022 hit Karthikeya 2. The shared photos included a captivating shot of Nikhil holding and looking into a diary, and a second featuring a striking depiction of Lord Krishna resurrecting beautifully in the background. Accompanying the stills, he teased, “Dr. Karthikeya In Search of a Brand new Adventure … Soon #Karthikeya3.”

For the unversed, the plot of Karthikeya 2 delved into Dr. Karthikeya’s latest enigmatic journey, unfolding during a family trip to Dwarka, leading him on a perilous quest for an ancient anklet. Directed and written by Chandoo Mondeti, “‘Karthikeya 2’ was produced by Abhishek Agarwal through Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory.

Featuring alongside Nikhil were stellar performers such as Anupama Parameswaran, Adithya Menon, Srinivasa Reddy, Harsh Chemudu, and the veteran actor Anupam Kher in a memorable role. Despite facing competition from big budget Bollywood films like Lal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor and Raksha Bandhan starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, Karthikeya 2 was released to theaters on August 13, 2022, and triumphed as one of the year’s top-grossing productions, receiving widespread acclaim.

Talking about Nikhil’s career, after receiving incredible success with Karthikeya 2, he starred in the film 18 Pages. This much-anticipated movie hit the screens on December 23, 2022 and met with a favourable reception similar to his previous success. After that, he did another action film titled Spy. Directed by Gyari BH, the film was released in June 2023. The film also starred Iswarya Menon, Sanya Thakur and Aryan Rajesh in important roles. Despite a lot of buzz, the film failed to impress the audience and was a big disaster at the office.

Currently, the actor is shooting for his next, titled Swayambhu. It is directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and Aadhitya Bahudhanam and stars Samyuktha Menon in the lead role. The film is expected to be released later this year.
