Nayanthara Gets Mobbed While Shooting For Her Next Titled Test In Tamil Nadu

Nayanthara made her debut in Bollywood last year with the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan. She garnered immense fame all over the nation after her Hindi film debut. While she was already a stalwart in South films, Jawan’s success has led her to become a pan-India star. She is currently shooting for her next with R Madhavan and Siddharth. The film titled Test went on the floors last year and is currently being shot in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Nayanthara got mobbed by her fans during the film’s shoot. Reportedly, the shooting of Test has been going on for the last few days at Sri Jurahareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram. As Nayanthara reached the sets to complete her schedule, fans flocked in to catch a glimpse of her. The crowd caused a traffic jam outside the temple, which was later cleared by the police force. She waved at her fans and interacted with them, while the police accompanied her to safeguard her.

Recently, Nayanthara dropped a picture of her look recently from the film and also revealed the name of her character in Test. In the pictures, she can be seen wearing a simple linen saree along with a nose pin. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Kumudha; Thank you for coming into my life when I needed you the most !! Am gonna miss being you !!” This indicates the film’s shoot might have come to an end.

Touted to be a sports drama, Test will mark the directorial debut of Sasikanth. It is bankrolled by Chakravarthy Ramachandran and Sasikanth under Y Not Studios. The film will also mark the third collaboration between Madhavan and Siddharth. Earlier, they appeared in the films Aayutha Ezhuthu and Rang De Basanti together.

Coming back to Nayanthara, she is undoubtedly one of the biggest actresses in the country. The Jawan actress has been an active part of the film industry for more than two decades now. She was last seen in Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food. The film hit silver screens on December 1, 2023. It received a lukewarm response from the audience and features an ensemble cast including Sathyaraj, Karthik Kumar, KS Ravikumar, and Redin Kingsley among others. Recently, the film made its digital premiere on December 29, on Netflix.
