Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar prefers a private life despite being a leading actor. He’s currently in Dubai with his wife Shalini and family for the New Year. Videos of the couple have gone viral on social media, including one where Ajith takes a fan’s phone and deletes a video they had taken of him. The actor avoids public appearances and doesn’t participate in film events or promote his movies. Despite this, photos of him circulate on social media, and his films often turn into blockbusters even without traditional promotional activities like audio launches, pre-release events or fan meets.

Netizens have mixed opinions about the video. Some supported the actor’s need for privacy, while others said it’s part of being a superstar. This isn’t the first time Ajith faced such criticism. A few years ago, he took a fan’s phone at a polling booth during the pandemic when they were breaking rules by taking pictures. Ajith was upset and warned the fan, but later returned the phone. Regarding his recent work, Ajith was last featured in Thunivu, which received mixed reviews. Currently, he is engaged in a project called Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The movie also stars Trisha, Arjun, and Regina Cassendra in important roles and was extensively filmed in Azerbaijan. The release is scheduled for this year.
