She said the power install capacity has also increased in 10 years (2003-2013). and 99.9 per cent households in Delhi have power connection. "Street lights have grown in Delhi from 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs," she said.
On the growing price of onions, she said, "Onion prices are fluctuating because the product is not reaching Delhi." There has been an increase in prices of crops across the copuntry and the Delhi government has always tried to provide the commodity at a reasonable price through various means.
The prices of onion are now between Rs 80 and 90 per kg in Delhi and it is an increase of almost 30 per cent from last week, when prices were Rs 60 per kg.
