New Delhi: The Congress's new advertisement on Twitter has landed the party in a fresh controversy. The ad claims there have been less terror-related deaths under the United Progressive Alliance's (UPA) rule as compared to the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) rule.
The ad titled 'Keeping India Safer' shows that under the NDA rule in 2003 there were over two thousand five hundred terror related deaths as compared to 181 in 2013 under the UPA.
The numbers have been drawn from the website the South Asia Terrorism Portal.
