New Delhi: The face off between BJP leader Maneka Gandhi and UP Chief Minister Mayawati has been on since the UP government ordered Maneka’s son and BJP candidate Varun Gandhi's arrest.
The two women engaged a verbal duel just over a week ago when Maneka hit out at Mayawati saying she did not understand a mother's pain.
Maneka's outburst came after she was not allowed to meet Varun in jail for a second time in one week.
Mayawati lashed back, saying one could “understand the pain of a million people, even without being a mother”.
Undeterred, Maneka has hit out at the UP CM again, targeting her for owning 75 properties "Mayawati has 75 properties at a time when Dalits do not have food to eat and houses to live in. She is a deshdrohi (traitor)".
