Lok Sabha Election 2024 LIVE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a Lok Sabha election campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka’s Bagalkote on Monday. - Congress released the names of candidates contesting for Punjab Lok Sabha elections on Monday. As per the party’s press release, the state Congress chief Amarinder Singh Brar will contest from Ludhiana.
- While addressing the BJP’s poll rally in Karnataka on Monday, PM Modi said, “We want to make India manufacturing hub, skill centre; this needs vision, those going for vacations can’t do this.”

- The nomination process for seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi is set to begin on Monday after the notification of the sixth phase of polls on May 25.
- The Congress on Sunday released the names of two Lok Sabha candidates and eight nominees for the Assembly elections in Odisha. According to the candidates list released by AICC’s Central Election Committee, the party changed the contestant for the Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat. Former MP Nagendra Pradhan is made the new candidate in place of Dulal Chandra Pradhan. The party fielded former minister Suresh Mohapatra in the Cuttack Lok Sabha constituency.
- Senior advocate and Congress leader Salman Khurshid said the announcement on whether Rahul Gandhi would contest from the Amethi Lok Sabha seat or not will be made soon.
