The formation of Cabinet has become a tough task with allies laying terms.
New Delhi: The hunt for a foreign minister is growing more intense. Four names that are doing the rounds are former Karnataka CM S M Krishna as the front runner, former Commerce Minister Kamal Nath , former Science and technology minister Kapil Sibal and Salman Khurshid.
Sibal was a key interlocutor in the Indo-US Nuclear deal and Congress leader Salman Khursheed served as MoS for External Affairs in the mid 1990s.
The Prime Minister meets the President soon as and when the talks with the allies are over.
Kamal Nath and Salman Khurshid are also in the running for the Finance Minister's job. But Pranab Mukherjee has emerged the front runner in that race.
