Congress declares first list of candidates for Jharkhand Assembly elections
Banna Gupta is the Congress candidate from Jamshedpur West and Md Mannan Malik will be representing the party from Dhanbad.

New Delhi: The Congress on Saturday declared its first list of candidates nominated for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jharkhand scheduled to be held later in November.

Rajesh Ranjan will be contesting from Mahgama constituency in Godda district, Sarfraz Ahmad from Gandey, Rajinder Prasad Singh from Bermo, KN Tripathi from Daltonganj, Ajay Dube from Bishrampur and Anant Pratap Deo from Bhawnathpur. Congress candidates from Sisai, Gumla, Bishunpur, Lohardagga and Manika are Geeta Shree Oraon, Binod Kispotta, Bobby Bhagat, Sukhdev Bhagat and Muneshwar Oraon.

Banna Gupta is the Congress candidate from the Jamshedpur West and Md Mannan Malik will be representing the party from Dhanbad.

Jharkhand will vote in five-phases on November 25, December 2, 9, 14 and 20. Counting of votes will take place on December 23.

The term of the present Assembly ends on January 3.
