New Delhi: After a controversy broke over Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi's trip to Aspen in the US for a private conference hosted by journalist Charlie Rose, the Gandhi scion has tweeted a photo of him attending the conference.
Rahul tweeted, "Very interesting discussions on the global economy and the disruptive power of technology at the conference in Aspen."

Former Union minister Milind Deora also tweeted Rahul's picture attending the conference.

Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi hit out at Congress by saying, "Two foreign trips are talk of town in country today. One is PM Modi's trip for development and the second is Rahul's trip is search for missing person. Rahul should tell country what was he doing during these days."
The Congress had earlier clarified that Rahul had gone to attend a private conference in Aspen titled 'Weekend With Charlie Rose' - after the Bharatiya Janata Party had contested the conference was actually in the months of June and July.
The Congress had dismissing BJP's criticism of Rahul's tour and said he would be back much before campaigning in Bihar polls gets underway.
"Rahul Gandhi is travelling to Aspen, US, on a short visit to attend a conference. 'Weekend with Charlie Rose' is a conference where thought leaders from different walks of life like politics, finance, technology, media, medicine, sports gather to deliberate on multiple issues," Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala had said.
