BJP-PDP came together to fight separatist forces, will be a turning point in J&K, says Jaitley
Talking about the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, Jaitley said BJP has become central core of Indian politics and the attempt will now be to win Bihar elections.

New Delhi: Lauding government's efforts for its performance in the past one year, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said crony capitalism has been replaced by liberal policy based governanace.

While addressing a press conference, Jaitley said corruption has been replaced by transparent governance and reluctance has been replaced by decisiveness.

Talking about the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, Jaitley said BJP has become central core of Indian politics and the attempt will now be to win Bihar elections. "Opposition is attempting to make an unnatural alliance to fight aganist us. we are confident that we will form government in Bihar," he said.

Ahead of the Modi government completing one year in office, Jaitley talked about the controversial BJP-PDP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir. "BJP-PDP tie up in Jammu and Kashmir is a turning point because we came together to fight separatism."

The Finance Minister said the government has improved India's reputation and impression. "Our government will ensure every citizen is provided social security cover. Finance Commission has helped in fiscal autonomy of the states. Overall the inflation figure has been much better than what had been in the last decade," he added.

He also congratulated AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa for assuming office for the fifth time. "BJP is not in alliance with AIADMK. We have different vies about them in Parliament and at times we have same views. As far as people's comfort is concerned, we have no differences, we will cooperate with them."
