180. Bhilwara is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Bhilwara Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bhilwara falls in Bhilwara district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 2,55,724 voters in the seat, which includes 1,31,445 male voters, and 1,24,279 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Bhilwara recorded a voter turnout of 67.54%. In 2013 the turnout was 73.07%, and in 2008 it was 64%.
In 2013, Vitthal Shankar Avasthi of BJP won the seat by a margin of 46,116 votes (32.61%). Vitthal Shankar Avasthi secured 64.76% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 17,277 votes (15.98%), registering 55.04% of the total votes polled.
