New Delhi: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare will be in Delhi on Wednesday. Anna is likely to attend a core committee meeting to discuss the future strategy of his fight against corruption.
Anna returned to his native village Ralegan Siddhi on February 18 with core committee member Arvind Kejriwal, after taking ayurvedic treatment at a hospital in Bangalore for persistent cough, backache and swelling on hands and feet.
Anna had left Ralegan Siddhi on January 29 and went to a Gurgaon hospital for a thorough check-up, after which he went to Bangalore on January 31 and was there till February 18.
Team Anna has been campaigning across Uttar Pradesh during the ongoing Assembly Polls asking voters to not vote for corrupt politicians.
Anna will also receive an award of Rs 25 lakh from a Delhi-based organisation for his contribution to rural development. The award, instituted by Sitaram Jindal Foundation, will be given on February 23 at a function in New Delhi.
The much talked about Lokpal Bill is expected to be brought again for consideration in the Rajya Sabha during the second phase of the Budget session of Parliament.
