New Delhi: BJP leader LK Advani's Jan Chetna Yatra against corruption entered day 13 on Sunday. He will addressing five public meetings across Orissa over the next three days.

Advani is expected to target the ruling BJD over large scale corruption.

The country-wide Jan Chetna Yatra reached Raipur on Saturday with the BJP leader launching yet another attack on the UPA government.

"If there is will to stop corruption it can be stopped," Advani told the gathering, adding only three governments led by Lal Bahadur Shastri, Morarji Desai and Atal Behari Vajpayee were the ones which were "scam-free".

Advani said he started considering a yatra when he received phone calls from his acquaintances abroad during the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and they would ask him about the "negative" news stories related to the Games.

"In the past 20-25 years the situation has changed and people have begun to say that India will rise high among the nations of the world and then comparisons are drawn between India and China," he said.

On the issue of black money stashed in foreign banks, he said, "Switzerland has passed a law which is named Restitution of Illegal Assets Act 2011 which says that if any government tells them that the money deposited in Swiss Banks is illegal, it would be returned."

"I call on the Prime Minister that by using this new Act, swiftly and quickly the maximum amount of money stored in Swiss banks should be brought back to the country," Advani said.

Advani also reiterated his support to the creation of Telangana.

The BJP leader said when the political map of India was drawn the language spoken was the main criterion.

"Who speaks Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam was the basis. The states where Hindi is spoken became very big states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. There were other states also that were big in size but these were especially big."

He said he had witnessed anger among people over the issue of statehood for Telangana when he had visited the region.

Advani reiterated that if the government brings a bill in the Winter Session, his party would support the formation of Telangana by the new year.
