In the 100 days of Modi 3.0, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again proven that his leadership is synonymous with progress, determination, and transformation. With an impressive list of accomplishments across infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, youth empowerment, and security, the Modi government has set the foundation for a thriving, self-reliant India. Let’s take a closer look at how these initiatives reflect a deeper vision for India’s future.
In the last Lok Sabha election, farmers, reservation, and unemployment were the central issues, and Prime Minister Modi’s third term, within its first 100 days, has focused intensely on addressing these challenges. While previous governments introduced various schemes, Modi 3.0 has taken bold steps to empower farmers, launch development programs that generate employment, and personally spearhead conversations on reservation reforms.
A milestone achievement during this period was India’s hosting of the first-ever World Semiconductor Expo, showcasing India’s technological strides. On the global stage, Modi has emerged as the leader many nations turn to, with Ukraine, Russia, and Europe believing in his potential to mediate the conflict. His leadership is further recognised, with the US backing India’s bid for a permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council, underscoring Modi’s growing global influence.
A Bold Push for Infrastructure and Economic Growth
One of the standout achievements of Modi 3.0’s first 100 days is the clearance of projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore, with a sharp focus on expanding the country’s roads, railways, ports, and airways. This massive investment in infrastructure is not just about physical development—it’s about creating opportunities, boosting employment, and laying the groundwork for future economic growth. By increasing capital expenditure to ₹11.11 lakh crore, the government is set to generate jobs and catalyse industrial development, helping India maintain its status as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.
Additionally, the government has worked tirelessly to promote ease of doing business. With the abolition of the angel tax and a reduction in corporate tax, it has created a more favorable environment for businesses. A Rs 1,000 crore venture capital fund for space sector startups is another bold step, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
Empowering Farmers and Revitalising Agriculture
Modi’s deep connection to India’s farmers has been evident from day one. Over the past 100 days, Modi 3.0 has made remarkable strides in revitalising the agricultural sector. The release of Rs 20,000 crore to 9.3 crore farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, along with an increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Kharif crops, demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving farmers’ livelihoods. The approval of the Digital Agriculture Mission and major irrigation projects like the Polavaram Irrigation Project in Andhra Pradesh further solidifies Modi’s long-term vision for sustainable agricultural development.
The soon-to-be-launched National Cooperative Policy promises to strengthen the cooperative sector, enabling better access to resources and empowering farmers to take charge of their own destinies.
Youth Empowerment: Building India’s Future
India’s youth are the backbone of the nation’s future, and Modi 3.0’s first 100 days have seen significant efforts to uplift and empower them. With a Rs 2 lakh crore package aimed at promoting employment and skill development, the government is investing in the future of 41 million youth over the next five years. Programmes like the Gen-Next Support for Innovation Startups (GENESIS) and internships for 1 crore youth in top companies underline Modi’s resolve to provide meaningful opportunities to the next generation.
By setting targets for skilling 20 lakh youth and modernising 1,000 industrial training institutes, the government is ensuring that young Indians are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Women Empowerment: Building an Inclusive Nation
Modi 3.0 has not only focused on economic and infrastructure development but has also made strides in promoting women empowerment. The recognition of over 1 crore ‘Lakhpati Didis’—women earning more than Rs 1 lakh annually—shows the tangible results of initiatives aimed at improving women’s financial independence. By doubling the MUDRA loan limit from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, the government has further enhanced opportunities for women entrepreneurs across the country. Modi’s focus on empowering women reflects his belief that true progress can only be achieved when every section of society, including women, is equally uplifted.
Focus on Healthcare: Strengthening the System
Healthcare has been a major focus in Modi’s third term, with significant developments aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical services in the country. The addition of 75,000 new medical seats is a game-changer, helping to address the shortage of doctors and reduce dependency on foreign medical education. The creation of the National Medical Register will bring transparency and efficiency to the healthcare system, ensuring that medical resources are more effectively utilized.
Tribal Development: Laying the Groundwork for Inclusivity
Modi 3.0 has also made tremendous strides in uplifting the socio-economic status of India’s tribal communities. Through the Prime Minister’s Developed Tribal Village Campaign, the government has set ambitious targets to develop 63,000 tribal villages, directly impacting the lives of 5 crore tribal citizens. This holistic approach to tribal development is part of the broader goal of making India’s growth story inclusive and equitable.
Ensuring National Security and Cybercrime Mitigation
National security remains at the heart of Modi’s governance. In a historic move, a peace agreement with NLFT and ATTF was reached in Tripura, bringing an end to 35 years of conflict and enabling 328 armed cadres to renounce violence and rejoin mainstream society.
In the digital realm, the government has taken proactive steps to address the growing threat of cybercrime. The ‘Samanvay’ platform, alongside the Cyberdost mobile app and the Cyber Fraud Mitigation Center, are part of a broader strategy to protect citizens from cyber threats. Training 5,000 cyber commandos over the next five years will further bolster India’s defense against digital crime.
Major Railway Projects and Housing Initiatives
Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to demonstrate his commitment to inclusive development, as he laid the foundation stone for and dedicated several landmark railway projects worth over Rs 660 crore in Tatanagar, Jharkhand, via video conferencing. These projects promise to enhance connectivity and drive economic growth in the region. During the same event, PM Modi distributed sanction letters to 32,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), reaffirming his government’s dedication to providing housing for all.
In a significant boost to India’s modern railway infrastructure, the Prime Minister also flagged off six Vande Bharat trains from Tatanagar Junction, setting a new benchmark for speed and efficiency in rail transport across the nation. This encapsulates the Modi government’s dual focus on infrastructure and social welfare, ensuring that the benefits of growth reach every corner of the country, particularly regions with historical and cultural significance like Jharkhand.
Ayushman Bharat Becomes Bigger, Better
In a landmark decision on September 11, 2024, the Union Cabinet approved a major expansion of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), extending health coverage to all senior citizens aged 70 and above, irrespective of their income. This move will benefit approximately 4.5 crore families, covering 6 crore senior citizens, who will now receive free health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh per family. With this approval, every senior citizen in this age group will have access to the scheme’s benefits, ensuring inclusive healthcare coverage across socio-economic strata.
A Vision for India’s Future
As Modi 3.0 completes its first 100 days, the government’s efforts are a clear indication of its commitment to transforming India into a global powerhouse. From infrastructure and agriculture to youth empowerment, women’s development, and national security, Modi has laid out a roadmap for inclusive growth that touches every aspect of Indian society.
Modi’s leadership continues to inspire confidence, and his transformative vision promises to elevate India to new heights. With each passing day, Modi 3.0 is proving that this government is not just meeting expectations—it is exceeding them.
India’s journey under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of bold reforms, visionary leadership, and unyielding dedication to building a better future for all its citizens. The next chapter promises even greater achievements, as India moves forward with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
