Sudarsan Pattnaik creates a sand sculpture on Virat Kohli's birthday, leaving fans amazed.

Virat Kohli turns 35 today, that is, November 5, and social media is flooded with wishes for the cricketer. From celebrities to politicians, everyone chimed in with their love and good wishes for the Indian skipper, along with fans and friends. However, one wish took a lot more than simply typing on a keyboard and it has fans amazed. Noted artist Sudarsan Pattnaik from Puri, Odisha created a masterpiece on this occasion. In a video that has gone viral over social media, Patnaik made a sand sculpture of Kohli and wrote the words ‘Happy Birth Day’ beneath them, commemorating the occasion.

The enclosure itself is full of colours. The shirt he is wearing is the bright blue jersey of Team India’s men in blue uniform. He sports his signature beard and a tidy hairstyle.

The official ‘X’ handle of ANI has posted the video on social media. “Odisha: Sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik created a sand sculpture of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on the occasion of his birthday, in Puri,” read the caption. Here, have a look at the viral video:

Since being uploaded, the video has gone viral with over 119K views. “Wishing the cricket maestro, Virat Kohli, a phenomenal birthday! May your year be filled with runs, victories, and memorable moments both on and off the field,” commented an ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “.@sudarsansand’s sand sculpture is the perfect birthday tribute to the cricketing maestro, #ViratKohli. The artistry in the sand reflects the admiration of millions. Happy Birthday, @imVkohli! #HappyBirthdayKingKohli.”

Meanwhile, earlier, on another birthday, Sudarsan showcased his talents and wished Kohli. In a Twitter post, he shared an art piece featuring the former Indian Captain. In the very impressive art-feature, there is a semi-circle boundary enclosing a light-green field (cricket ground, obviously). In the centre is a cricket pitch, with tiny wickets and crease-lines. The enclosure itself was beige and orange, signifying the cricket stands. Emerging from the field is Captain Kohli’s bust and face. The shirt he wore was the bright blue jersey of Team India’s men in blue uniform.
