There have been 7 India vs Pakistan matches so far in the ODI World Cup history and the men in blue have won them all. As Rohit Sharma & Co look to extend the streak with the 8th victory, Salman has expressed his “8 ka wait” in a video, shared by Star Sports India on X (formerly Twitter).

Salman Khan was seen sporting his Tiger look in the video. The actor plays a Raw agent, Avinash Singh Rathore, popularly known as Tiger, in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger franchise. The trailer for Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 will be unveiled on October 16 and the film will be released in November, on Diwali.

Coming back to cricket, both Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue and the Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team are in terrific form in the ongoing World Cup 2023. With two wins in two matches, both teams are among the top four in the 10-team marquee event.

Team India started their World Cup 2023 campaign with a crushing defeat over Australia. India won the first match by 6 wickets, with 52 balls remaining.

Next, India defeated Afghanistan to record a second victory on the trot. Skipper Rohit Sharma broke several records with his superb knock of 131 runs off 84 balls.

In the second match, the Men in Blue achieved the victory target of 273 with 15 overs to spare.
