The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the inter or class 12 results today. It is available at the official portals — onlinebseb.in, biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The results are also available at the DigiLocker and BSEB apps. Besides, the board has completed the evaluation process of the answer scripts as well. The evaluation began which began on February 26 ended on March 8.

The release of the Bihar class 12 board exam results will be announced at a media briefing first before the link is activated at the official portals. State Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary along with Bihar Board chief Anand Kishore will be announcing the result at 3 pm from Patna-based headquarters. Students will be able to check their results online once the link is activated using their roll numbers as per the admit card.
The board had released the provisional answer key for the objective questions asked in the class 12 examination, which comprised of 50 per cent of the exams. Candidates can assess their probable score in the objective section using the answer key. The answer key is also available at the official website.

BSEB had divided the exams into two parts for the current academic year with each covering 50 percent of the syllabus, like CBSE. The exams were held between February 1 and 14 across various exam centres in the state. A total of nearly 29 lakh students had appeared for exams.
To prevent cheating in the board exams, Bihar had imposed section 144 at a 200-meter radius of the exam centres. The class 12 exams were held in February. Before entering the exam centre, candidates had to undergo frisking. Besides, the authorities were asked to update to higher-ups after checking every 25 candidates. The board also set up a WhatsApp group ‘BSEB Exam 2022’ wherein the board officials shared updates related to the exams.
Bihar Board Inter Result 2022: Passing Marks
Candidates will have to score a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject and overall. They will have to pass in the theory and practical papers as well.
While 33 per cent is needed to clear the 12th exams, the state board toppers across all the three streams – Science, Arts, and Commerce will be awarded cash prizes. Students who come in first will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each while second and third rank holders will get Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 each from all three streams. The top three rank holders will also receive laptops and kindle e-readers from the state government.

While students can check the official website, it is unlikely that the score will be available at 3 PM there. Bihar Board Inter Result 2022: What to Check
Candidates who appeared for the Bihar board class 12 exams held in February must cross-check all the details on the marksheet carefully, once released. The report card will includes not just the candidate’s scores but also their name, parents name, subject name, application number, and other details. In case of any discrepancy in the mark sheet, report to the authorities immediately for rectification and clarity.
Bihar Board Inter Result 2022: Pass percentage last year
The Bihar board class 12 board exams has seen the pass percentage getting higher every year. In 2019, it was 79.16 per cent while in 2020, it was 80.44 per cent. However, after delivering an almost 80 per cent success rate in 2020, the pass percentage dropped slightly in 2021 at 78.04 per cent in 2021. BSEB later extended relaxation in marks, and all the students were later promoted.
Meanwhile, for class 10, the evaluation process began on March 5 and is likely to conclude on March 15. More than 200 evaluation centres have been set up for this purpose. BSEB conducted the class 10 offline exams between February 17 and 24 prior to conducting the class 12 exams.
For Bihar class 12 exams, commerce stream students has been performing the best among all three streams. In 2021, commerce stream had a pass percentage of 91.48 per cent. While in 2020, as many as 93.26 per cent of students cleared the exam from commerce stream. For 2022, it would be worth seeing if the stream continues it winning streak and moves for a hattrick this year.
