Suhana Khan's The Archies will mark her Bollywood debut. The film is all set to release on December 7.

Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s highly anticipated debut film The Archies is all set to release on December 7. Ahead of the same, the makers have kick-started the promotions of the film. Having said that, the cast recently visited a college in town to talk about the film. Suhana, Khushi and the entire cast also performed the hit song Va Va Boom from their film.

Several videos and photos from the event have gone viral now. Suhana looked the prettiest in a shimmery green embroidered frock, Khushi on the other hand looked dreamy and elegant in shimmery netted orange frock. Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot and Yuvraj Menda wee also seen joining them. While the cast of the movie matched steps, the song concluded with Khushi and Suhana in Agastya’s arms.

Have a look at the videos :

The song Va Va Voom is a lively tribute to the 1960s rock and roll era. The song captures the essence of timeless rock and roll tunes and features all the cast members. What caught our attention was Agastya Nanda’s rendition of Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dance moves. The song boasts relatable and romantic lyrics. Agastya Nanda’s guitar strumming adds a touch of romance, complemented by dance sequences featuring Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, along with other co-stars. The video features their dance skills, with Agastya Nanda impressively imitating Shah Rukh Khan’s signature dance steps seen in films like DDLJ and Main Hoon Na, where he performed floor dance moves.

The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is an Indian live-action musical movie based on the popular American comics of the same name. It also marks the acting debut of late star Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor (Betty), and megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda (Archie).

Speaking about the film, Zoya previously said, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous.”

The Archies is slated to release on December 7. The film is skipping the theatre release and will stream on Netflix.
