Rani will soon be seen on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, too. Rani Mukerji and Kajol, who are cousins, had teamed up for the premiere episode of Season 2 alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Although Karan clarified that Shah Rukh won’t be on the Koffee couch this season, Rani and Kajol will compensate for their Kuch Kuch Hota Hai co-star’s absence. A new promo shows both actors playfully teasing Karan; Kajol says that ‘humble’ isn’t his ‘middle name,’ while Rani vows to expose Karan’s secrets.
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in Mr Chatterjee Vs Norway. Speculations are rife that Rani might already be gearing for another film and this time it’ll be helmed by her close friend. According to a source close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, Rani wants to keep the momentum going with the next project. The source revealed, “Yes, Rani Mukerji has decided on her next venture. It will be a small budget film produced by Yash Raj Films itself. Interestingly, the venture will be directed by Rani’s good friend Vaibhavi Merchant. Right now it is still too early to say anything, besides the entire team is keeping details under tight wraps.”
